upon arrival the baron hands you a small locked box.
"inside is the offering we are proposing. to get to the lair just
follow the road heading north out of town. when you reach the 2 hills
turn and head straight east up the mountian. about half a days march
youll find a small path just follow it untill you reach her lair."

"just leave the box on the stone table and return home. simple"

ooc: i have no idea, dirgah is gonna be afk for work related stuff.

"well young lady since you volunteer to go then the honor is all yours."
the baron looks at you and smiles,
"but before you leave take these supplies with, its not much but they will help,"
he hands you a bag containing 7days rations and 2 cure light wounds potions
"the offering container is in my house come by just before nightfall and ill give it
and the direction over to you"

he steps off the gallows and leaves.
the crowd slowly disperses back to there homes and shops

Its early June and the years crop is doing terrible.
The sun keeps rising earlier and earlier and setting later and later.
The ground is dry and almost barren. grass is dying and trees are wilting.
A strainded peace has settled across the land, ever since
Whifgut has captured and settled in Whiteraven, the "fair races" of the world
had no choice but to recognize the ogre magi as a ruler of his realm.
Having chosen to settle in Durthkeep, a small city in the lands of Whiteraven settled on the edge of the spine,
you awake to begin your day.
Durthkeep has trade that reaches as far north as icewind dale and south as far as baldurs gate.
this helps keep the city in good standing with the "fair races" with a ogre magi ruler!
Durthkeep has been growing steadily over the years with an ever increasing
population of mixed races from goblins to orc.
Humans still have the majority of the population with its share of dwarves and elves.
a few gnomes have chosen to settle the outskirts to conduct some extreame experement.
the local religion is manily Mishkell but a few priests of lathendor and st cuthbert have
settle nicely into the area.
most of the goblinoid races whorship gruumish along with Whifgut.
Many people belive that there is a secret circle that has dealings with
"unatural beings" of the underdark.
Durthkeep has a dark secret that even Whifgut dosent know.
Durthkeep has a close tie to an ancient dragon, Thrixin the grey.
Thrixin has lived in the area for as long as anyone can remember. she demands
a tribute from the town 3 times a year.
and one of those times is now...

As you progress to the town market area where you work you notice that the whole
city has turned out. and an erie silence settle's upon the crowd as you approch.
making your way through the crowed you notice the towns baron standing on the gallows.

"Is ther not one of you who will go to Thrixins cavern and give her the offering?"

PostSubject: Re: dark waters lvl 1-5 players 2-6   dark waters lvl 1-5 players 2-6 EmptyFri Nov 04, 2011 7:50 pm

i cap both the same at 5 for just plain
and 10 for improved

special note on expertise it adds 1-1/2
value if using a shield similar to the way power
attack does for 2h weps

and yes the ac's do stack. but you lose them if flat footed.
and with total def action you dont threaten an area.
you can use fighting defensivly and combat expertise
but you cant use either with total defense.

how do you handle stacking say
combat expertise and fighting defensively or total defense action.
since its a dodge ac it should stack right?

will you cap expertise at 5 or will you let it scale like power attack?
